Terms of service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organisation you sign up for) and Parikshith, a sole proprietor based in Bengaluru, India, trading as Knosite(“Knosite”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

The service

Knosite reads the website content and files you give it, answers your visitors’ questions from that content, and collects leads for you. Answers are written by AI and can be wrong or incomplete; you are responsible for the content it learns from and for checking answers that matter.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and your team list current. You’re responsible for what happens in your workspace. Only add websites you own or are allowed to manage.

Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Razorpay. Prices are shown on the pricing page.
  • Upgrades start right away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and the plan keeps working until then.
  • We don’t refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
  • If a payment fails and isn’t fixed, the AI answers stop and the widget keeps collecting leads.
  • We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change applies to you.

AI messages and fair use

Each plan includes a number of AI messages per billing cycle. An AI message is one answered visitor question; greetings, questions the assistant can’t answer and contact-form messages don’t count. When a workspace gets close to its allowance, answers become shorter; when it is used up, answers pause until the next cycle and the widget keeps collecting leads.

AI capacity is also subject to fair use. Automated or scripted traffic, attempts to use the assistant as a general-purpose chatbot, or usage that is far outside normal patterns for your plan may be slowed or paused for the rest of the cycle, even before the allowance is used up. If that happens we’ll tell you and help you find a plan that fits.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Knosite to:

  • break the law, infringe others’ rights or publish content you aren’t allowed to;
  • collect data from visitors without telling them as your local law requires;
  • send spam, malware or deceptive content, or impersonate others;
  • probe, overload or work around the limits and security of the service.

We may suspend a workspace that does, after notice where we reasonably can.

Your data

Your content, conversations and leads stay yours. You let us use them only to run Knosite for you, as described in our privacy page. When you process visitors’ personal data through Knosite, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and telling your visitors (for example in your own privacy notice), and we process that data on your instructions, as set out in ourdata processing agreement.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Knosite available but don’t promise uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features; if a change takes away something you pay for, we’ll tell you in advance.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from Billing and close your account by emailing us. We may end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or right away for a serious breach of these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, both of us agree to write to the other and try to resolve it first, athello@knosite.fyi.
