Set up Engage with your AI agent

Connect your AI agent to Knosite and it can set up Engage for you from the chat: the privacy check, what you sell and who it’s for, the buying actions to track, the markup on your site, Smart Terms, help chips and micro-surveys, and a live test at the end. It shows you every change in its own chat and applies it only after you say yes.

What it can and can’t do

  • It works on custom sites (it edits your code) and on Wix, Squarespace and Framer (Knosite marks the elements for you, so nothing on your site is edited).
  • Visitor-facing content goes live as soon as you confirm it in the chat. You can undo anything it published.
  • It can never delete anything, and it can’t see your leads, conversations, billing or team.
  • You choose which sites it can use and whether it may publish. Disconnect it any time under Account in the dashboard.

Connect it

The server is a standard remote MCP server. Its address is https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp. Signing in takes one trip to your browser.

Claude Code

  1. Add the server (once):
  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose knosite and sign in in the browser.
  3. Then say: "Set up Knosite Engage for this site." (or run the knosite_engage prompt).
claude mcp add --transport http knosite https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Knosite and enter the URL https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp
  3. Sign in when asked, then say: "Set up Knosite Engage for my site." No code or repository is needed for sites built on Wix, Squarespace or Framer.

Cursor

  1. Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or use the install link), then sign in when Cursor asks.

~/.cursor/mcp.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "knosite": {
      "url": "https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Add to Cursor

VS Code (Copilot)

  1. Add this to .vscode/mcp.json (or use the install link), then start the server and sign in.

.vscode/mcp.json

{
  "servers": {
    "knosite": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Install in VS Code

Codex CLI

  1. Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run: codex mcp login knosite

~/.codex/config.toml

[mcp_servers.knosite]
url = "https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp"

ChatGPT

  1. Settings → Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode, then Create.
  2. Enter the URL https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp, choose OAuth, and sign in.
  3. Start a chat with the Knosite connector enabled. Works without a repository.

Gemini CLI

  1. Add this to ~/.gemini/settings.json, then run /mcp auth knosite to sign in.

~/.gemini/settings.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "knosite": {
      "httpUrl": "https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Windsurf

  1. Add this to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json, then refresh and sign in.

~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "knosite": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Any other agent

  1. Zed, JetBrains, Cline, Roo, Goose, opencode, Amp and others: add a remote (Streamable HTTP) MCP server with this URL.
  2. If your client only supports local (stdio) servers, bridge it:
npx -y mcp-remote https://mcp.knosite.fyi/mcp

Then ask

“Set up Knosite Engage for my site.” Agents that support prompts also offer knosite_engage, knosite_engage_verify and knosite_engage_undo.
