| What counts as an AI message | Chatbase charges per model request. A request costs 1, 2, 4, or 5 of Chatbase’s own units, depending on the model. If an action runs, the pricing FAQ says the agent can make a second request, so that reply costs twice the model’s rate. The monthly amount renews on the 1st, and unused monthly units do not carry over.Models · Pricing | One answer the assistant writes from your pages counts once, at the same rate. Greetings, questions it can’t answer and contact-form messages don’t count. Term taps, help tips and survey answers never count. |

Knosite answers from your pages and links the pages it used. Engage adds Smart Terms, help tips, and micro-surveys on the page. A term such as SSO gets a dotted underline, and a tap explains it. That tap does not use an AI message. A help tip sits beside the section someone is reading. A survey asks one to three questions, such as team size, after a useful answer.
Knosite weighs the whole visit: the chat, the taps, the survey, and clicks such as starting a trial or booking a demo. A hot lead comes with a short reason. It can go to the team by email, and on to Slack, a CRM, or Zapier. You confirm every term, tip, and survey first. An AI agent can draft them. On Wix, Squarespace, and Framer, Knosite applies Engage from its side.
